View CommentThanks so much for reading and reviewing this book! I’m glad you loved it ?
View CommentThe Naive Wife is really a great book to read. I was practically glued to it from start to the end. The fact that the book was quite unpredictable was really intriguing. I love the twist – a Christian Radio presenter, relationship and love talks, wealth, choices. Its a good book, well done Ufuomaee!!
View CommentThanks Deborah!! I really appreciate this review ??
View CommentThe Naive Wife is a very simple, relatable book. Choosing the right person could be a challenging task for the unmarried especially when it seems there are many options to choose from. Rachel did the right thing when she prayed to God and sought counsel. Did she really hear from God or was she led by appearances? Did she receive the right counsel? Did she establish truth from witnesses? Did she let societal expectations as to when to marry dictate her choice? As a counselor and radio host on love and relationship matters, did she apply the same counsel she gave others to herself? These and other questions are what readers should watch out for in this enjoyable read and yet another masterpiece from Ufuomaee.
View CommentYou’re the best!!! Thanks for reading and sharing your review and for your awesome support ?
View Comment‘Perfect love casts out fear’, one of my favourite scriptures. Great read and quite unpredictable, the story didn’t turn out how I thought it would. As usual, I love that Ufuomae’s characters are not perfect and are multifaceted, the characters are so relatable and realistic. As I read this book, I couldn’t help but relate it to my own life, how we can sometimes put God in a box and are better advicers to others than ourselves. From this story I can see why that quote, ‘to thyself be true’ is relevant. I think if Rachel was ‘true’ to herself she might not have made a ‘naive’ choice. However as the story continues, I know the Author is a proponent of redemption. So, who knows.. the story might turn around.
View CommentThanks so much for this awesome review! You really got the point I was trying to get across. To thine own self be true! I’m glad you enjoyed it, and yes, let’s pray for redemption ?
View CommentA narrative well structured on a plot striking balance between Christian, sociocultural, and personal beliefs on relationships, as well as informative, rather educative, all the way, which will keep you reading from the first chapter to the last as quick as you can…
View CommentThanks Miracle! I really appreciate the support. I’m glad you loved it ?
View CommentI enjoyed reading Rachel’s Choice (finished it in one sitting). It was a relatable story and yet different. It was so refreshing to see Rachel work through some of the same fears and questions most of us do. Especially when it comes to knowing God’s will for our relationships/marriage. At the crux of this story is knowing the difference between doing the right thing and the God thing. Thank you so much, Ufuomaee, looking forward to part 2
View CommentThanks so much for reading and dropping your review for me ? I’m glad you found it relatable and refreshing ?
View CommentOk. This book has got me hooked. I was scared as I could relate so well to the main character Rachel … a lot…down to her age and that scared me. At some point, I looked up and asked God if He wanted me to read this book as I met the Author by chance & I was drawn to the book as soon as I read the summary at the back.
I absolutely love the narrative style, creating the scenes in my head was so easy that I would give certain outbursts or roll my eyes when I read some certain parts *let me not give any spoilers*, I would giggle at some point or give myself a facepalm when I couldn’t stand a certain character. This is a book that has got me entertained I must say and it also made me also become more aware of how often we misunderstand God as we tend to forget that His ways are not ours, neither are His thoughts like ours.
I am grateful that God allowed our paths to cross Ufuomaee, I’ll be waiting patiently for the next part of this realistic story!
View CommentYou’re a gem! Thanks so much for getting a copy, reading, entertaining me with your feedback and dropping a review too. I’ll get to work on Book 2 just for you ?
View CommentAfter reading the book, The Naive Wife, l discovered that there are some beliefs and customs we have to do away with in our society about the female children. Our daughters, when they have reached a certain age, they find out that their parents, their relations, their loved ones will be talking about marriage, but it’s like they don’t care about who you are going to marry, whether he is the person who will take care of his responsibility till eternity, they don’t care so far you are married. This is not good.
View CommentAnother thing l learnt is the need for patience and to be prayerfully and to commit a new relationship to our heavenly Father. And also to ask for his great wisdom and his holy spirit to guide and to protect them. As they do these, they want to have a waiting attitude to look on to God for an answer, so that their works and that of their parents, and their loved ones will not be in vain.
Besides reading this book, my advice to parents is to get the book and read it and encourage our of age children, and daughters especially, to read this book and get the real sense of what this book is talking about. Read Volume 1 and watch out for Volumes 2 &3, and enjoy your reading.
Thanks so much, aunty ? I’m glad you got the lesson about parents involvement in these important life choices.
View CommentThe Naive Wife is a book that taught me alot of things, Am inspired by the book not to make FEAR rule over me. Rachel lived in fear, wanting perfection of a God fearing man as a husband. It’s good to have standards about our future husband but checking the necessity of the person we are getting married to is also important. We need to give room to people in our life, not limiting some over other (at the end of the day real friends stays in our life) Rachel was emphasizing on the fact that she want to hear from God about her boyfriend, if she had taken fear out of the picture she would have realized so many things about him before her marriage. Seriously do a thorough background search about intended husband to avoid stories that touch. Like I said I learnt alot I can’t wait for volume 2 to be out??
View CommentThanks Tracy! I enjoyed reading your review ? I’m glad you got much from the book
View CommentI never been read a story as exciting as the first few pages of the Naive Wife. Highly recommended! Thank you Ufoume for sharing your story.? You’re a great author! Wish for more to read!

View CommentThe Naive Wife, this book is really great! It taught me a lot of lessons. Right from the first chapter to the last chapter, I am relating it to my personal life and have really ordered my steps. Seriously, this book is not only for singles but for all. And for the author, you have never disappointed us with your mind-blowing books. You are indeed a blessing to this generation. Out of you shall continually flow rivers of living water. cheers!

View CommentWow!!! Rachel’s Choice (The Naive Wife) has undeniably earned a coveted spot on my top bookshelf of Christian love stories. I’m not even going to attempt to review it because I doubt that I could do it justice. You have to experience it to understand all that every single reviewer has experienced.

View CommentI was so so engrossed to this books…really educating and inspiring but pls is that the end of the story. In Book 2 Rachel’s Dairy…pls dont tell me the story ended like dat…
View CommentNo dear… It’s a trilogy. Book Three is underway. Thanks!
View CommentMy favourite thing about Rachel’s Choice is how engaging it is. I could not put it down or focus on much else until I was done with it. It’s also very relatable and I like that it’s a book centred around faith in a way that is not sanctimonious or overly done.
Rachel’s character is very well rounded and the dilemma she’s presented with is one that a lot of women who strive to obey God can relate to. The book is also very well paced; there are no boring portions that seem to drag on for too long and it’s so well written that you can actually visualize the scenes being described.
View CommentWow! Thank you! I love your review ?
View CommentYou think the first book is good? You haven’t read the second one yet. Love the story!

View CommentRachel’s Choice!!
This book!
I couldn’t put it down.
As I read, it took me back to pre-marriage when I was really really concerned about not making a mistake with my choice of a spouse.
I knew just how important this decision was. I could feel (like really feel) Rachel’s dilemma and confusion.
Wow! Thank you Ufuoma for writing this book. I couldn’t stop reading, I had to find out what the final choice would be.
You wrote this drawing the reader into Rachel’s life. It feels like there exists a real ‘Rachel’….. I guess there are many ‘Rachels’ out there.
I will keep mum on Rachel’s Choice until you read it and tell me what you think – Doug Vs Ejike Vs Dongjap
One thing I’d say though is that this choice thing, you need God and wise counsel!
View CommentThank you so much for this ?
View CommentFrank Sinatra said love is more than just a game for two.
Someone remind me that if love is more than just a game, selecting a life partner is so much more.
Oh yeah, Ufuomaee did in Rachel’s Choice.
Ufuomaee painted a realistic and true picture with Rachel’s situation with two suitors. Picking a life partner can be much more complex than how Hallmark paints it.
Ufuomaee showed us that in Rachel’s Choice.
The book was simple and straight to the point. The pacing was excellent and the language easy. Not too much serenren. The characters are charming and there’s more than meets the eyes with them.
I honestly can’t wait to read the other two books in the series.
View CommentThanks Iyanu! I appreciate x
View CommentThanks Anietie ???
View CommentLoved reading the naive wife’s series. Loved the dialogue, feel in love with the characters; beautiful story telling.
View CommentI couldn’t put them down.
Though I am married, I learnt a lot of lessons about marriage and about the gospel.
Rachel failed many times, but His love was enduring. Doug had so any chances to repent and even at the end, his life was spared. Etc etc..
Thanks Ufuomaee for teaching the gospel through this series.
Thanks so much for reading and sharing a review with me ?
View CommentThis is the first of your books I am reading and it has been really worthwhile. I love your writing style and this story was very relatable and interesting. Can’t wait to read the others!
View CommentI am a fan!
Oh wow! Thanks so much ????
View CommentHi Ufuomaee, I enjoyed reading the trilogy The Naive Wife. It was so real and relatable. However, I would love for you to downplay the emphasis of emotions that was brewing between Rachel and Ejike in the 3rd book at Rachel’s child’s birthday. I think it would set the mind reeling in a lot of thoughts.
View CommentThanks Modupe! I appreciate you taking the time to give me your review and feedback. I hope you’ll read more books by me and tell your friends too. xoxo Ufuomaee
View CommentSecond read around, and Rachel’s Choice is still enthralling. Though the present tense writing is kind of hard to get used to at first, but the story sucks you in so quickly, you forget about it and want to follow Rachel as she makes her choice. Even though I already know how it ends, I can’t wait to read the other two books in the trilogy.
View CommentUfuomaee, what did you put in your books? I usually don’t like rereading books, but your books are the exception!
Thank you, Iyanu…
Na only salt and pepper… And prayers, lol!
View CommentThis is the first book in The Naive Wife trilogy. It is the introduction to the life of Rachel, a single Christian radio presenter, who subtly feels the pressure of being in a relationship because her younger sister was getting married. She meets potential suitors and her heart is torn on who to pick.
View CommentAs the title indicates, our main character, Rachel Eden, made a choice which was glaringly a red flag to any one with two eyes, but she wasn’t able to pick the signs on time. Sounds familiar to real life…?
This story was a full package of what many singles face when at the juncture of making decisions about marriage.
I loved the nuances of the many characters in the book. Some were annoyingly annoying, some were too slow for my liking, some had a little bit of sense. I learned through this book that it isn’t right to make assumptions about people based on face value.
I highly recommend this book for all and sundry.
Thank you, Praise! I’m so glad you got much from this.
View CommentUfuomaee did a thing with The Naive Wife and it’s exceptional! This is my third read but this book still feels newwwww, I don’t think I can ever be done with The Naive Wife.
View CommentThe emotions, the unique storyline and the characters are something I can’t erase from my memory. At this point, if Ufuomaee decides to sing in a book or write a poem, I’m gonna read ittttt. Why? Because I’m so sure it’s going to be a bangerrr!
I’ve read books but this left me with a feeling I can’t explain, I can’t wait to dive into book 2. Rachel’s Diary.
Awww, thank you for this glowing recommendation. Glad you loved it.
View CommentOh Rachel. Several times while reading the book, I wished I had the power to influence Rachel’s choice. Rachel is such a lovely person but she convinced herself that because someone looks good, then he can’t be good for her and she ended up making a choice that she shouldn’t have. Doug was really dogged and went after what he wanted while Ejike was too laid back for my liking cos uncle how are you so relaxed when you know you are the better choice. Anyways, before I drop all the spoilers, The naive wife: Rachel’s Choice is a book worth reading because you’ll learn that not all that glitters is gold. The choice of who to marry isn’t something that you should make without the key ingredient of peace of mind. I highly recommend and can’t wait to delve into book 2 in the series
View CommentThanks so much for reading and posting your review!
View CommentWhere do I start, I would high recommend, this book to all singletons.
View CommentIt has many life lessons and directives, that will help you whilst dating as a Christian.
Even tho the story is fiction, its very relatable.
The main lesson for me from this story is, that, when you say you want to date God’s way, really wait on God’s sign before you make any decision.
Thank you for reading and reviewing! I’m glad you got much from it.
View CommentWow! This book is amazing! I am constantly amazed at how Ufuomaee weaves her stories. A fiction story telling of a lady’s journey to marriage, making her choice of a partner amidst the many. Did she make the right choice? What advice did she get? In this book you begin to see how choice of a life partner determines trajectory of one’s life journey.
View CommentUfuomaee captured the essence of a single lady torn between choice of a marriage partner. You will go through a lot of emotions as you follow Rachel on her journey to her final choice.
Did I enjoy this book? YES!!!!!!! The emotions, all the uncertainty and the red flags….. this book was a fantastic read. Thank you Ufuomaee for this.
Thank you, Oruare! I’m glad you love it.
