Yet another good, entertaining and educative book. I listened to the audiobook. Well done Ufuomaee

View CommentThe number of my scars are the number of my victory that’s why my praise can never be the same as your 🕺👯♀️🎹. When Mary was writing this story this was the song on my mind. I was really heartbroken to see her heartbroken and giving up but I like that during those times we think we are at our peak God will definitely show up.
This book is for those out there thinking that all I think I can take God will show up and you can use his strength I tell you his strength is made perfect in our weakness 👌🔥💯.
View CommentThank you ma 🤭🤭I keep seeing things in a new view each time I read your book 🔥. More grace ma 💐.
Thank you! Glad to be used by God.
View CommentReading this after the church girl, really makes sense! It revealed a deeper level of how she felt while her husband cheated on her.
I love how God really helped Mary to use her breaking point to be a turning point for others. This shows that God can bring out a message out of our mess!
Thank you Ufuomaee, for letting us read this from Mary’s point of view.

View CommentAfter reading church girl my heart broke from Mary , I could feel her pain and betrayal. When you love hard and deep, forgiveness is hard to practise but thank God for her in-law who what her angel on earth. Reminding her and her husband what God desires is for their marriage and their behaviour towards one and another.
View CommentAnother excellent read
This was the most soul wrenching moment in The Church Girl saga. Yet, it is the event that carries the greatest weight both of pain and redemption. I loved how this short story focused on Mary’s POV, making the microscopic view of betrayal and forgiveness even more solid.
I cherished the depiction of godly council and mature help in tackling such a delicate matter that Mary was confronted with.
Just as Mary was able to heal and let go of her hurts, I believe every relationship has hope to scale through any tough time if God is in the picture. For two are better than one and if one falls, the other is able to help him up.
View CommentThis was one of the most heart wrenching scenes in The Church Girl. I must confess, I really don’t know what I would have done if I were in Mary’s shoes.
View CommentThis book emphasized forgiveness and how beneficial it is to us as Christians no matter how hard it can be.
Thanks for reading and reviewing!
View CommentReading this a second time, and the pain still cuts deep.
Ufuomaee really evoked the pain and heartbreak of a woman broken by her husband’s infidelity. But in the pain, God in His mercy, brought restoration and healing.
I walked away from this book with the lesson that humans are just that—humans. They are weak and prone to mistakes. Only God does not fail. Couples should bear this in mind so as not to expect too much from each other and to extend grace to each other.
When one falls, we should bear in mind that the enemy is not the partner who succumbs to temptation, but the devil himself, who is against all Christian marriages.
Mrs Chukwueke’s counsel to Mary is full of wisdom that can help build marriages and I highly recommend this book for it.
View CommentReading this from Mary’s point of view was heart breaking. Imagine giving your all to make a family for someone who allowed lust get to him.
Thank God, there was an early arrest which started with barging into the office, the confession and everything.
Sincerely, I wouldn’t know what I would have done if I were in Mary’s shoes no matter how I imagine it.
Thank God for the timely intervention of her mother-in-law. A mother-in-law like that, who can find.
The verses that were used in the discussion is one of the reasons I love books from Ufuomaee.
This is a wonderful read and I would recommend it especially if you are going through something similar.
View CommentEven though this book is Mary’s POV of the scenario in The Church Girl where she found out Ifeanyi cheated on her, it was still fresh. This book taught me that humans will always be humans! Trust can be broken but it can also be repaired with the help of God. This is another book that talks about the redeeming power of forgiveness. It truly takes the grace of God to forgive cos Omo mehn, I felt Mary’s pain but I’m glad they were able to move past this. Really rooting for them.
View CommentWhew! Good example of the Bible verse that say let him who thinks he stands be careful before falls. Ifeanyi thought it could never happen but it did when he least expected. We see God’s love abundant here even as we learn that man should not esteem anyone even our spouse on so high a pedestal that they take the place of God in our lives as well as no one is beyond making mistakes.
View CommentShort but insightful! Well done.
When I read of Ifeanyi’s betrayal in the ‘The Church girl’s I was heartbroken. However, reading this from Mary’s perspective felt so real.
I learnt a lot from this book even as a young single girl.
One thing that I took from this book is that God should be placed at the centre of a home, putting our trust and faith in our partners can fail at some point but with God as the captain of the home, a smooth landing is ensured.
I learnt a whole lot.
View CommentThank you ma for allowing God use you.
More ink to your pen.
It was nice to read from Mary’s POV and feel her emotions. Mary placed Ifeanyi above God. She ranked him higher than her maker. This book shows that God should be our everything not man, fame or money but God. Anything we place above God becomes our god.
View Comment“He cheated” is a short but inspiring and insightful book.
God’s strength is indeed made perfect in every of our weaknesses.
I absolutely recommend this insightful piece 💯💯💯
View CommentWow.
View CommentI actually felt Mary’s hurt in this. For her to wish death upon herself means that, she was hurt in her soul. Her heart was broken into tiny fragments, which she thought couldn’t possibly be healed.
And truly, she would’ve died of heartache, if not for God who taught her what it actually means to love. Love is like a rose. Beautiful, yet painful.
Love births redemption. Just as Jesus demonstrated on the cross, that we might be redeemed, thus we must live.
Well done, Mama Ufuomaee 👏
Reading from Mary’s perspective- I could feel Mary’s pain all over again. Truthfully God won’t allow you to go through something you can’t handle. Mary went through several pains because she trusted in men, but when she realized that she needed to put her trust in God- she started overcoming.
When Mama Ifeanyi said’ if you die he will still marry again’ I felt it. Everyone needs someone like her in their lives- to confront with truth
