I just finished this amazing piece and it was really worth it. The story was perfectly written and each story was relatable.
it was like you were in different families and writing out their stories, so many lessons learnt and so many relatable scenarios.
I’ve started season 2 and 3. I really can’t wait to see the end of these stories.
Thank you for being a blessing ma’am.
Thank you for restoring hope through your writings.
View CommentThank you darling ? I’m glad you loved it and appreciate the feedback. Please tell your peeps they can’t miss this story ?
View CommentThis was like being in book heaven. I read this in one sitting! I enjoyed following up on all my favorite characters. Can someone help me ask Broda Oyinda what exactly is the colour of his problem? Yoruba demon alert. Mary and Ifeanyi still goals! Glad Chuka and his wife were able to make up. Please don’t tell me David and Amaka are going to end up together! Good to read up on Bolu and Lola, Promise and Ope too. I’m starting season 2 right away! Love, love this! Thank you Ufuomaee for this beautiful story.
View CommentA small world….wonderful twist embedded in different families. The choice of character was on point. I was glued to the pages and just had to keep on reading.
View CommentSuspense therein is mind blowing. A wonderful work of Art.
God bless you.
Thanks Oyin ? I’m glad you’re enjoying it ?
View CommentA Small World 1 picks up from where Broken, The Church Girl and An Emotional Affair left off, pulling together a band of main and side characters into a large ensemble cast.
It’s nice to see what happens during happily-ever-after for some characters and how happy the happy-for-nows are. I loved how realistic it was. But what I loved even more was the lesson on prayer and talking to God about your problems.
It was a much-needed lesson that helped me find peace in a storm that was ravaging my heart. I absolutely recommend it. Though the large cast might be a bit confusing at first, if you read the prelude books, you have a better understanding. Plus it ends in a cliffhanger like a good series pilot, getting you ready for the following books.
View CommentThank you for this review. I’m glad you took away that lesson about communicating with God. Blessings!
View CommentA small world truly I love as I was seeing my favorite casts from previous novels( Broken, An Emotional Affair and The Church Girl) in my head I connected everyone and how they relate to each other and the emphasis on guarding our heart and praying Omo top notch 👌. I love that they all helped each other to grow tooo.
Thank you Ma for always hitting that spot everytime 🫶❤️ now I’m more curious what will happen next those people living happily ever after now what will be their next challenge and a lot more.
View CommentThanks Tolu! I appreciate you reading and dropping a review for me.
View CommentI felt that this was a prefect introduction to all the couples that are going to have a part to play in the small world series. It was lovely reading, how some of the previews couples were getting on in their relationships and marriages. We are also introduced to some new characters.
Once again there are a lot of life lessons to be learnt from the stories of the couples e.g. what real forgiveness looks like, the power of prayer and praying together, trusting God with your brokenness , understanding your purpose etc.
I look forward to reading the next books in the series , I have made some predictions in my head and want to know if, am right in how some of the couples relationships will play out.
A great start to the series!!
View CommentIndeed this book deserves an award for such a befitting title. I was quite impressed by how deftly the author was able to entwine and cross the paths of so many well developed characters from different books into the same storyline. It was absolute genuis.
I have characters I’m rooting for, and those I completely hate (God forgive me, because I know they’re also redeemable creatures).
I loved how the story revolved around Valentine’s day, the celebration of love. From various angles, I was able to enjoy the experiences (both sweet and sour) of each individual character.
I don’t want to be tempted to give spoilers so I will stop here. I can’t wait to dive into the next seasons of this series and see how each character’s story unfolds.
Kudos to Ma’am Ufuomaee for such a masterpiece.
PS: Big shout out to my favourite couple in the series, Mary and Ifeanyi. You both are a testament that true love exists.
View CommentI must say Ufuomaee take not just your flowers but the entire garden. I’m having the time of my life with these books.
View CommentThis is such a great start to the series with us getting a scoop into the lives of the different couples and where they are. I love that each character is well developed that makes it fit perfectly into the story.
I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.
Ahhhhh!!!!!! My head is spinning! I want to shout, laugh, cry and even say you deserve it at the same time to different characters. This book is all shades of good. This book keeps you on your toes, you just have to know what comes next.
View CommentThis book shows forgiveness, second chances and yes how easy it is to go off track. You also see the impact of words and attitude and how it can fuel or diffuse a situation. Words! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. On to season 2. Thank you Ufuomaee.
There are books and there are BOOKSS.
This right here is a masterpiece.
My goodness.
I was really happy to see characters from “Emotional Affair” , “Broken”, and “The church girl”
I love it and i can’t wait to go see more of them in coming seasons.
View CommentAlright. This is wonderful. It’s nice to see how Ufuomaee keeps track of these characters, no one is left out. Also, I’ve never felt so many different moods while reading one book. This book has shown the power of words, of learning to lean on God’s grace fully, which is worth emulating.
View CommentEhen, lest I forget, what is Oyinda’s problem? The saying goes ; 99 days for the thief, one day for the owner. His 99 days will expire soon. Can’t wait. On to season 2!
How on earth did you get to write about so many characters and not at one point did you make a mistake in this series?
Thank you for always maintaining consistency and making us change our favorite book of yours after every single read because you are always hitting it spot on👏👏👏👏👏
ASW season one is a beautiful read and I don’t think a one time experience is enough. It was an exciting read, I get to see some of my favorite characters from
BROKEN, THE CHURCH GIRL and HE CHEATED! And I also get to meet some audacious characters like DOLAPO and a chronic liar like OYINDA.
I learnt a whole lot about relationships, the ship doesn’t end in courtship, it continues in marriage. Communication is key to having a good relationship with your spouse.
I’m so excited to read the next book in this series.

View CommentI don’t think there is a more perfect title for this book than “A small World”. It encompasses everything.
View CommentMama Ufuomaee has done it again.
Amaka is gradually becoming my favorite in this series- her determination to do God’s will is beautiful, her life is a testament that no one is beyond redemption. I love how Mary’s experience has made her become like a spiritual guardian to most of the people in this series.
Not to give spoilers or anything, but I can’t keep it inside- Unku Oyinda needs prayers(serious one oo)
Anyways this book is a must to read for everyone ( especially if you love “The emotional affair”, The Church girl, He cheated and Broken.
*Sighs* in wow
View CommentThe fact that the author was able to entwine the lives of all the characters in this series is wonderful.
The fact that we get a follow up story on their struggles, lives and relationship with God and one another is beautiful.
There are some characters that I feel like beating up( God forgive me) I know they can also be saved but their attitudes at this moment is something else.
Especially one annoying fervent cheater like that but then I look forward to seeing the bigger picture and unfolding of this beautiful story.
I love the fact that we get to learn lessons from different lives. So beautiful and lovely.
And I absolutely love how Mary and Ifeanyi have grown.
Off to season 2
After reading the standalones, I love the fact that I am able to follow up on the lives of the main characters of the each books and I equally love the fact that they are meeting themselves one after the other. It is truly “A Small World”. Some things happened in this season one which includes the good, the bad and the ugly and some of the characters did alot.
I can’t wait to move on to season 2, I feel the plot twist there would be something else.
Weldone Ufuomaee, thank you for the book. It was worth the time.
View CommentAfter reading the first book in this series, I can’t wait to read the other books and I’m very eager to see how these stories unfold.
The world we’re in is really small; our decisions do not only affect our lives but also the lives of different people.
This book shows that every individual has within them the power to make the right decisions. It also shows that forgiveness is such a powerful tool, it can mend the shattered.
I’ve loved every plot in this book so far, and I look forward to completing the entire series.
Well done Ufuomaee! You have an excellent mind. I love how these stories are coming together.
View CommentThere’s something Ufuomaee started with this small world series that is really rare to find in most books. It’s where most books end that A Small World series start. Most book end with 2 people surmounting all challenges stopping them from becoming a couple and life happily ever after.
Ufuomaee, in this book, provides a view of what life after marriage is like. This helps to debunk the fairytale mindset most literatures gives and enlighten the readers of how marriage is a journey that only begins after they tie the knot.
Additionallu, how w she simultaneously walk us through the lives of different couples in this book is really amazing for me. I’m going to drop my pen here so i can advance to A small world 2 where the drama continues.
View CommentThis book is an insightful exploration of redemption, love’s trials and triumphs, and many more. The book is very enlightening, it is indeed a small world. It is about different people living complicated lives.
The themes I was able to pick out from this book are conversations with God, love, faith, revenge, and forgiveness.
I am so much in love with the book’s simplicity. I recommend this book with my full chest 🤗💯💯💯
