View CommentWho killed Nnamdi?! is a spectacular read. I was held spellbound from the beginning to the end. I felt every emotion and trust me this ranged from anger, to disbelief, to shock, to hope. The twist at the end was definitely unexpected and really, was there anyone safe from Nnamdi? As usual with Ufuomaee’s stories, there were many lessons to unpack. It also buttresses the fact that every action/decision has serious consequences and these consequences could be life altering. View CommentUfuomaee has struck again with another banger! The emotions, the sizzling spice, and the unexpected are simply amazing! From the very first page, I was hooked. Nnamdi is such a character. You just swing from loving him to hating him the next moment. My goodness!! His actions were on a different level. If it was possible to enter the book …..The twists, the drama, were just on a different level. At some point, I was seriously infuriated and couldn’t believe someone could act that way and still walk confidently among people. This suspense packed book draws you in. The suspects all have valid motives, but the outcome is one I never expected.
View CommentThis story is a pointer to parents to be careful of exposure that their children experience because it can make or mar them for life and the spiralling effect on those around them and future generation can be very grave. There were instances where I hoped some would make better decisions, but alas… a reminder also that every decision has a consequence.
Ufuomaee has written another spellbinding book, a story that might seem unbelievable but occurs even more than we can imagine in today’s world. Thank you for throwing light on the effect of exposure to young children as they grow. It’s a book that enlightens and encourages one to believe that even from the midst of pain, hope and love can still rise again if only the right choices are made. A beautiful 5 star read!

“Who killed Nnamdi ?” is an amazing read. Like who tell a story of broken people in a beautiful way? Ufuomaee!
I wasn’t expecting the plot twists in this book at all, I was on the edge of my seat all through.

This book is truly a masterpiece, and I firmly believe that no review can do it justice. You simply have to read it for yourself to experience it yourself.

The lessons in this book are to be discovered as you read and when you discover each, you will find yourself saying a prayer for yourself and everyone related to you.

View CommentI thought I knew where this story was going but I was so wrong. The twist and turns of this book left me speechless (in a good way). It’s definitely a nice pallet cleanser after reading mainly romance books. This mystery/suspense will have you glued to the pages.
The questions that kept coming to me were :
Did Nnamdi deserve to die?
Did Ada deserve the pain that she endured in her marriage?
Aren’t all the baby mama’s delusional?
Is having a child worth taking a risk like one woman did?

Guys! I finally finished reading Who Killed Nnamdi?
My heart!
It was supposed to be a read-along (we had a reading schedule and all), but I was too invested to hold on any longer. My case was that of ‘curiosity killed the cat’.
This book is divided into three parts: Ada’s Story, The Investigation, The Aftermath
And, my God, you’d never see the culprit coming. The discoveries were too shocking…
May God deliver us from evil.
Things dey happen for this planet earth.
I don’t want to give spoilers but:
The character I detested the most: Nnamdi.
The character I loved the most: Barrister Segun
The character I pitied the most: Adaeze
Lessons I learned:
The heart of man is desperately wicked, who can know it? You can’t judge man based on what you think you know about them. You need the Holy Spirit for discernment and guidance when it comes to any form of relationship.
Trigger warning: This book addresses some sensitive themes like premeditated murder, infidelity and some sex scenes. As indicated in the author’s note before the story starts, I also don’t recommend the book for anyone below 16, and anyone who is uncomfortable or triggered by reading such things.

Adaeze’s character particularly provoked my exasperation. Despite the glaring evidence surrounding her, she remained obstinately blind to the truth. The author skillfully crafted her willful ignorance, making it both believable and infuriating. I found myself wanting to reach through the pages to shake her, to force her eyes open to what was so painfully obvious to readers. This tension between what we as readers could see and what Adaeze refused to acknowledge created a compelling dramatic irony that kept me invested in her journey.
The revelation of Nnamdi’s killer left me utterly stunned. The author’s careful misdirection throughout the narrative laid a perfect foundation for this shocking twist. Looking back, I can see how the clues were subtly woven into the story, yet the revelation still caught me completely off-guard. The psychological complexity behind the killer’s motives added layers of moral ambiguity that challenged my understanding of justice and retribution. This wasn’t merely a plot twist for shock value; it was a carefully constructed commentary on how trauma and circumstance can transform ordinary people.
The pacing was impeccable, with tension building steadily toward an explosive climax. I found myself unable to put the book down, sacrificing sleep as I promised myself “just one more chapter” until dawn found me turning the final pages. The author’s prose struck a perfect balance between lyrical description and taut suspense, creating an atmosphere that felt at once dreamily atmospheric and urgently immediate.
Beyond the gripping plot, the book’s exploration of Nigerian cultural dynamics and intergenerational trauma added rich thematic depth. The author’s intimate knowledge of these elements infused authenticity into every scene, creating a world that felt both specific in its cultural details and universal in its emotional resonance.
I eagerly anticipate more works from this author whose storytelling prowess has established her as a voice to watch in contemporary literature. , the author has done it again. This book ehhhh, suspense filled. I literally became a detective trying to fish out who did it and I didn’t still get it because the author is too good mehnn. You see that moment when you feel like you have figured something out and it was later wrong, that was how I felt. You don’t want to read keh, you are missing a lot. Another thing that strikes me in the book is forgiveness and redemption.

, pain, empathy, disbelief, e t.c) were coursing through me while reading this masterpiece.
The characters; Ada and barrister Segun captured my heart
. Ada’s journey from brokenness to healing and from fear to faith was so inspiring.
The author’s writing is exquisite, swinging from pain and betrayal to forgiveness and trust.
What I loved most about this novel is the way it portrays that there is hope for any of us, no matter how bleak our situation.
If you’re looking for a mystery and suspense-filled story, with romance that will touch your heart and nourish your soul, “Who killed Nnamdi?!” is a must read
. I’ll be recommending it to everyone.

View CommentThis was such a gripping read, once I started, I could barely put my phone down, constantly switching between my desktop and phone just to keep going.
The story is a heartbreaking reflection of reality for many people. It highlights how the struggles adults face often stem from unresolved childhood wounds, and if left unhealed, these wounds can negatively impact others. It’s a sobering truth and a wake-up call: guard your territory, protect your children as best as you can, and above all—pray!

It is fast-paced, riveting, and absolutely spellbinding. From the beginning to the end I hung on every word.
Nnamdi ‘s confidence and audacity was out of this world. I flipped the pages in awe. When you think “no way! he did not!”, he effortlessly tops that act with another one even more outrageous.
Ufuomee ‘s presentation of this story was so good, it was impossible to put down the book. I mean, I was doing laundry with one hand and I had my phone in the other hand.
I can’t think of another way to talk about this book without giving spoilers and I wouldn’t want to do that to you

View CommentIt was so captivating and engaging that I did not sleep till 4:00 am.
The plot was intriguing with its many twists and turns.
Ironically, as much as Nnamdi was vile, I sort of felt sorry for him. He was a product of his upbringing. Ada, on the other hand, was so typical of a certain type of woman who stays in abusive relationships “first the children” “because I am a Christian” She’s also to be pitied. Rita however, “off with her head!”
If you’re a crime fiction enthusiast, I highly recommend this book.

At some point I started to feel for Adaeze but then I had a second thought that this message has to just be rightly conveyed…
There are lots of people who really need this out there and thanks for giving people like us heads up before we start the journey of marriage.
What interest me most is the character flow and I personally love Barr. Segun already.
There’s no part of this book that gets tiring at all even from the title “Who Killed Nnamdi” gives everyone a suspense already. It was a beautiful read and I’m so glad my friend introduced me to your books.

View CommentWho Killed Nnamdi?! by Ufuomaee is a brilliant masterpiece of intrigues, suspense, plot twists and mind bending saga where the unexpected becomes the expected. At the beginning and deep into it, I worried how Ufuomaee, known for her Christian genre novels can vear so sharply into pure carnality. For me, how she managed to weave, combine and steer a worldly and corrupting lifestyle of the main characters and still was able to end up convicting and winning souls for Christ is the mystery and indeed, miracle of the novel. The plots, sub plots and twists are just crazy. The suspense is thick and palpable. I got so gripped by it all that after the read, I’m feeling so close to and invested in Adaeze and Segun as if they’re my real life family. I now really wish I could meet up with them some day. This is beautiful work of art that masterly painted a usually dark and challenging aspect of life and relationships in truly bright life colors while managing to place God at the center and solution to it all! Go, Ufuomaee is a Goal.

The energy of suspense and the intoxicating appetite to know what’s next in the next sentence kept me awake for two nights. The novel style and narrative of hearing from the horse’s mouth adopted in telling the story is very refreshing. After reading the entire book I am still debating in my mind who or should I say what really killed Nnamdi. I urge you to read the book and let’s know your take.
