A Small World - Season Five - N2500
It's the Happiest Season of All! In this fifth season of A Small World, we see the lovers and their friends and families as they enjoy the delightful end-of-year season with the usual festivities associated with Christmas and preparations for the new year. We are going to at least one Nigerian wedding, a 30th birthday party, Christmas parties and get-togethers, and of course, a New Year’s Eve party to close out the season and usher in 2017.
The drama continues as Ijeoma is confronted with her growing feelings for a widower. Will she or won't she take a bite of the forbidden fruit? Amaka and Bolu finally get a chance to talk, and emotions are laid bare. Will Lola be left heart-broken after all? It's been weeks since Temi fell into a coma, and Oyinda now realizes that his life is bound to hers. But there's another waiting for the news that will change their lives forever.
To fully appreciate this season, it's best to read the previous seasons first, including the prelude books, The Church Girl, An Emotional Affair, He Cheated! and Broken. Season Five is the last of its kind, featuring a large ensemble cast based in Lagos, Nigeria... But the story will surely continue, as we follow up with specific characters of interest in new environments and situationships, looking at their lives in a post-COVID era.
Wow!!! Ufuomaee has done it again, delivered a 5/5 book. The drama did not stop in this season and I’m here for it even though it was indeed the happiest season. It delivered well for me because I’d always love a happy ending and while not all characters had a happy ending, all my favorites did, yaaay! It is an interesting and enlightening read because as usual with Ufuomaee’s books there are some golden nuggets dropped in. I love that even characters that you’ll think are not redeemable were redeemed. Ufuomaee told stories with the different characters in a way that you’ll usually not conceive of but still in a realistic and relatable way. I highly recommend if you love drama, sweet love stories, second chance love and everything love. A small World season 5 delivered on all it promised and more! Will definitely love to read more about the characters in the future. Weldone Ufuomaee

View CommentIt’s the happiest season of all* in Michael Bubble’s voice.
I had a smile on my face at the latter end of this book. It was so nice reading about the happily ever afters and the journey to them. It wasn’t easy for some characters, but one thing I can see clearly is that God is a God of second chances and He is an expert in making beauty from ashes if we surrender and let Him have His way with our broken pieces.
I highly recommend this series. It shows the power of God to redeem and restore and is packed with salient messages on navigating temptation in marriage. I can’t wait for the rest of this never-ending series.
Well done, Ufuomaee. You’re an author the world should pay attention to.

View CommentThis was truly the happiest season of all.
From getting a positive news with the cliff hanger that ended season 4, to the reconciliations that happened with so many people here. Total forgiveness and new beginnings were not left out at all.
I enjoyed this so much and I would read it over and over again.
Ufuomaee did excellently well with this book. The way she was able to connect the major characters showed that it’s really A Small World.
Some of the characters need cane but thank God they are not major characters.
One thing that was glaring here was that Christ is the solution to all conflicts.
Weldone Ufuomaee, thank you for preaching a message through fiction.

Thank you, Victory!
View CommentFirst off, Ufuomaee delivered. She ate and left no crumbs.
It was really so nice seeing all my faves and peevees back in the show.
Every intricate detail had me so immersed in the story that I was giggling, squealing and even screaming into my pillow at some points. Sigh… I go love o.
And all the parties here and there, I won’t be oppressed. Christmas and New year vibe was definitely in the air.
In this remarkable season, I witnessed love rekindled, spiritual growth, some people toying with temptation and I looked at them with my bombastic side eye. I won’t mention anybody’s name.
I enjoyed how nicely this season wrapped up all the conflict and tension from preceding seasons. Indeed, it was the happiest season of all. I mean, at least there were no recorded deaths. Hallelujah, somebody!
Ma’am Ufuomaee can write like… My God. The way she handles multiple characters and timelines and settings leaves me in awe every time. I’m humbling asking her to impact me with the anointing.
Anyways, I can’t wait to see how the coming seasons unfold. I can sense they’ll equally be super interesting. I pray God continues to inspire the author, Ufuomaee.
God bless you so so much, Ufuomaee. Your book will touch lives all across the globe in Jesus’ name.
This book easily earned my five star rating. Although I wish there was an option for an infinity rating because no scale can quantify how happy this book made me feel.

View CommentI was eagerly waiting for ASW 5 and lo and behold I was not disappointed, Christmas is always a season to look forward to and so was ASW 5 I love this book so much….. this season has all the spices, all the drama, emotions and I love that there is a plan for everyone and anyone as long as they submit to God’s leadings. A lot stood out for me especially the daily decision to love rather than wallowing in shame and bitterness also the community of friends with like minds, friends you can open up to and won’t judge you…. that stood out for me too. Thank you ma for always hitting us with your amazing fantastic books that always definitely keeps us asking for more💯🔥.
